Chen’s grandmother’s scented lotions made her feel comfortable as a child with eczema.

 She developed a passion for scents and created a “wardrobe” of fragrances.

 When her newborn daughter was allergic to her perfumes, Chen launched her own brand, Skylar, in 2017.
